The 24th Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Awards Ceremony was held at the Sheraton Taipei Hotel on June 1, 2022 . CPC Corporation, Taiwan won the Platinum Award in the gas station category for 22 consecutive years. In addition, CPC won the Gold Award in the lubricant category for 3 consecutive years. It is the the first time that CPC won the Platinum Award in the lubricant category this year. That means the Lubricant Business Division of CPC Corporation, Taiwan has been committed to strict quality control for a long time, and has cultivated a trustworthy and safe brand image for many years. It has been ingrained in peopels' mind and widely affirmed by all walks of life.
The "Trusted Brand" campaign hosted by Reader's Digest and voted by the public has entered to the 24th year. The campaign commissioned an online survey of 51 product/service categories by Catalyst Research, the international famous market research company. Regional Analysis is performed on 8,000 samples covering 5 markets in Asia - Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. There are two types of survey methods: qualitative and quantitative. The evaluation is based on six indicators including "trust and credibility", "quality", "value", "understanding consumer needs", "innovation", and "social responsibility". The winner of the "Platinum Award" is the only one in the category. In addition to obtaining the highest score, the total score must be clearly ahead of its competitors in the category. That means it is difficult to be recognized by the Platinum Award for the Trusted Brand. In the fierce competition environment of major international brands, the Lubricant Business Division of CPC Corporation, Taiwan must work hard in terms of quality, service, innovation and brand image, in order to achieve results significantly ahead of the industry.
